g15mpd software package provides A simple frontend for the MPD Media Player Daemon, for use with g15daemon, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install g15mpd
g15mpd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the g15mpd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep g15mpd *
You will get with g15mpd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
